Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Perform detailed analyses and design as per design basis, project specifications, design codes and standards.
– Apply knowledge and skills to a wide range of standard and non-standard situations.
– Material Tracking
– Progress Investigations
– Handling Site subcontractor and Fabrication yard interfaces
– Prepare clear and accurate detailed design calculations and analyses including design reports and procedures.
– Capable of independent analysis of various problems that are occurring at the interface between the Design Operating Centres and the Procurement and Construction functions.
– Able Excel data manipulation and reporting in order to pinpoint potential problems and communication them to Engineering Manager level.
– Be able to interact with Client engineers in a clear and tactful way to ensure the Design Operating Centres can progress their work smoothly.
– Clearly communicate and explain complex issues and work to establish understanding.
– Liase with All Engineering disciplines, Construction site/Fabrication Group, Safety Dept, Document Control, Procurement Group, Subcontractors and Vendors, and Customers.
