Electrical Superintendent

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Implement and enforce QA/QC ITP and documentation, for all HV AC electrical installations.
– Supervise installation of high-voltage components at offshore and onshore converter stations.
– Conduct inspections and audits on cable laying, terminations, switchgear, transformers, and grounding systems.
– Review and approve electrical test reports (insulation resistance, Hipot, partial discharge).
– Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, DIN, EN standards and client specifications.
– Manage punch lists and corrective actions before commissioning and energization.
– Coordinate with EPC QA/QC teams and third-party inspectors for signoffs and certifications.
– Track and report electrical scope progress against master project schedule.
– Enforce adherence to EHS standards including OSHA and NFPA 70E.
– Serve as primary on-site liaison with utility companies and grid operator (TenneT).
– Lead all electrical commissioning requirements and ensure compliance with the Commissioning Execution Plan.
– Review and or develop procedures, and safe work practices for electrical systems.
– Manage energization, testing, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment during commissioning and operations.
– Liaise with vendors, subcontractors, and equipment suppliers for commissioning and repairs.
– Validate electrical data in completions database and review completion dossiers.
– Coordinate PTW (Permit to Work), LOTO, Safety analysis, and Vendor SAT/start-up activities
