Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Conduct land/marine surveys and inspections by industry standards and regulatory requirements
– Collaborate with project teams to aid with the planning and execution of land/marine surveys and data acquisition activities, ensuring accurate and timely completion
– Utilize various survey equipment, software, and technologies to collect and analyze marine data, including positioning, bathymetric surveys, and awareness of sub-bottom profiling and side-scan sonar imaging
– Assist with management and preparation of accurate survey reports, charts, and maps, highlighting findings, recommendations, and potential risks
– Support the identification and evaluation of potential marine hazards, such as underwater obstacles, geological formations, and uncharted navigational hazards
– Maintain and calibrate survey equipment, ensuring their proper functioning and accuracy
– Monitor and assess environmental impacts caused by marine construction activities, recommending appropriate mitigation measures
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations during survey operations
– To be based at worksite based on project requirements, onshore and/or offshore
