Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
– Take responsibility of the portion of the Undergrounds scope on the basis of the Lead Engineer guidance
– Ensure that success criteria is targeted, and project objectives met in a timely manner.
– Liaise with other Senior UG Engineers and Designers both in Lead office and High Value Centres
– Liaise with other disciplines as required
– Define and ensure technical adequacy of design, and is able to deliver design within budget and programme
– Conversant with drainage network calculations using Micro-drainage or equivalent.
– Ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) aspects of the work, both in terms of Oil and Gas practice are met
– Is a confident communicator ensuring inter discipline communication and is able to articulate solutions in project meetings.
– Continuously overview work to ensure that designs provide an innovative and safe solution in construction
